I'm painting three pictures for my sister (she is going to have a baby girl). I finished this first picture, the other two are a flower and bird (same style), but I'm torn as to what color(s) I should do with the others. I was planning on just doing the same colors on all three pictures but Eric suggested to do a different color with the brown on each canvas. Like pastel purple, yellow or green. What do you think? Should I mix it up or stick with all pink?

Karrie was telling me about these is she is so excited you are doing this for her. The one you have done looks great. I know Karrie just got done with a quilt that has purple in it; I think it maybe also had a pretty honey-yellow. Good luck. I'm excited to see the finished product.
As I've already mentioned to you, but just so others can possibly agree or disagree with me...here it is...I think you should do 2 in pink and one in like a lavender or purple.
Eric, After wondering how my "old" 5th grade class was doing and finding the SFHS website, I clicked on your blog. So glad you are well and your son is doing good. Lime green - or a fun shade of green. But then you know I'm biased.
hey Kristi- Kaylee and I were looking at your butterfly picture and Kaylee thinks that you should paint the other pictures pink, and I think that you should do them different colors.
You are so talented! You need to come paint my girls room! I guess it kind of depends on what color the walls are painted in the baby's room. I think it would be cute in all pink or different colors. Sorry, I'm not much help. That design is really cute. I'm sure it will look great!
I'm with Eric--I think three different colors would be awesome!! I seriously LOVE the butterfly one. The canvases you did for the boys' room are the BEST! Everybody who sees them can't help but comment on them.
I guess what I am saying is that when I have a little girl, I want you to do the ones for me in three different colors. (Is that pretty subtle?) HAHA!
Loooove it! I can't wait to see more pics or the bird and flower! I think three different colors would be really cute - maybe a lime green or tangerine? I'm with Catherine and would like to place a request for some of your work too!! :)
