We've been sick all week so the kids and I haven't left the house for over a week now. As a result, Ryan had a bad case of cabin fever so I took him out to play in the snow. Why is it he never looks at the camera unless I'm trying to take pictures of Sarah and then he only pulls funny/weird faces?

Yes, he still loves sticks...

I know, I know, I've been such a slacker in the blog department. So much has happened that I've just felt a little overwhelmed...so I'll just take a little at a time.
We were lucky enough to have Sarah blessed while we were in Utah with all our family present. We feel so blessed to have Sarah in our family. This is the dress I was blessed in; one of my aunts made it for me. I have always loved the dress and was happy that I could pass it on to my beautiful Sarah.

Sledding
One of the perks of having your family live out in the country is all the open space. My Grandparents lived out in Genola all growing up and we'd go out there each winter to get pulled on a sleigh. My parents since have moved out there and now Ryan and Sarah can have the same fun I did when I was little :). Ryan had a lot of fun with his cousin's and uncle's.

Our good friend, Carly, is a photographer. I love the work she does. (here is her website) We were lucky enough to have her take some pictures for us. I thought they turned our great...

Smiling

I was finally able to catch a smile on camera. I love that she has her daddy's dimple.

We had our Halloween party on Saturday. It was so fun to get together with some of our friends. We had lots of fun, yummy food and decorated haunted gingerbread houses. Boys got their fill of football and baseball while the girls talked :)
Those of you who are also fans of ourbestbites.com will recognise some of the food. Diana also made lady fingers...so awesome!

Here is Brad and Chels taking care of their babies while the rest of us were in the kitchen.

Pumpkin Carving
Eric is very artistic. When it comes to carving a pumpkin he is no different. He always likes to do the real elaborate carvings. Much to his disappointment I made him choose a much simpler pattern because we didn't have a lot of time and I didn't want Ryan to get too bored during the process. Sorry babe. But I think it turned out cute!

Happy Halloween!
I was so glad I decided to make this costume. Ryan absolutely loved it. It was so fun to see him run around in it. We had a great time going to Eric's school to trick-or-treat. I'm going to miss trick-or-treating this way. It's indoors so you can see all the costumes as opposed to having everyone bundled up in coats and hats. And it's quick!

This is always a great office area in the school. They always have it decorated so cute. This year it was a Harry Potter theme.

Our friend Kaitlyn also loaned us Sarah's costume. Isn't it adorable? Thanks Kaitlyn!

What a good big brother.
Ryan sure loves Sarah, maybe a little too much at times. Either way it's fun to see him interact with her.

You've got to be kidding me!
Our car was broke into last week. It was a pain to deal with the insurance, and getting it fixed with a baby that was only a week old...this makes me really want to move! I can't believe someone would do over $1200 in damage to our car just for an Ipod.
