Oh Pregnancy....
I know this may sound horrible, but I'm not a big fan of being pregnant. I just don't think I'm cut out for it. First of all, I became a type I diabetic when I got pregnant with Ryan. Then of course there's the nausea, acid reflux, getting larger by the second, etc., etc. However, as I'm sitting here catching up on everyone's blogs, our little girl is moving like crazy. I absolutely love feeling her move; it's enough for me to know she's doing okay and fortunately she isn't big enough yet to cause any pain by kicking me in the ribs:). Eric got to feel her move for the first time last night. It's times like that which make me forget about the unpleasant stuff and actually enjoy the pregnancy!

Time for a haircut.
I've been needing something new and fresh (especially since I've been feeling pretty blah lately). I've had some people ask me to post a picture of my new hairdo so they can see it. Here you go. It feels good to have a few inches off.

Today we had another ultrasound and found out that we are having a girl. She looks healthy and is doing well so far. We are so excited for our little upcoming addition to our family.
Here is Ryan playing with one of his Easter toys. He got a little farm set, and it entertained him for hours.

I love that he sticks out his tongue when he concentrates; like father like son I guess:).
Coloring Eggs

It's so fun having a child that is old enough to appreciate these kinds of family activities. Even though he wasn't a whole lot of help we had a lot of fun.
This looks like he is angry but this is just his most recent "cheese" smile.

Ryan in his new Easter outfit.

The other day I made some edible paint (i.e. pudding) for Ryan to finger paint with, and here were the results. He was in heaven.

What in the world?!
He came out of his room looking a little bothered, but it wasn't until he turned around that I realized why. He was trying to pull his diaper off. This was before he figured out how easy it is just to pull the tabs of the diaper. Silly boy.

It's so fun to live near family!!
My cousin and her cute family moved to Wisconsin a couple months ago. They live about an hour-and-a-half away. We were so glad they stopped by to visit on their way home from the Chicago Temple. Hopefully next time they can stay a little longer:) It was so fun to see you guys, thanks for the visit!! It was so refreshing to see family.

I've been feeling guilty that I haven't updated the blog for a long, long, time so here are some updates clear from Christmas...sorry. It may be a little update over load.:)

Ryan is now in a big boy bed and he loves it. He sleeps way better in it then he ever did in his crib. We should have switched a long time ago!

Ryan's going to be a BIG brother...

(This is a picture of Ryan in the hospital after he was born.
I can't believe how fast the time flies.)

Yes, that's right. We are expecting #2 on September 18th.(I've been a lot sicker this time around than I was with Ryan. So hopefully that explains the lack of recent posts.) We had an ultra sound last Thursday and so far the baby looks healthy. It was so fun to see our little baby move and to be reassured that it's doing okay.

Too funny not to post!

On Valentine's weekend we did a babysitting swap with our friends, the Rowans. That way we could each have a night out without the kiddos. If you ask me, Ryan is having a little too much fun with Isabel's dress up. :)

About a month ago we were asking Ryan where his ears, eyes, nose, etc. were. When he shows you where his ears are he pulls on them. I thought that it was funny so I started making monkey faces at him. This led to Eric and me pulling all kinds of funny faces. Ryan thought it was great. He got so excited, his little hands started shaking and you could see the wheels in his head turning; he was trying to figure out what face he should pull. After much thought, he just pinched his nose really hard. That's the best he could come up with. It was pretty funny. I wish we had had the camera ready for that one.

(These were the best faces we could get Ryan to do for us once we got the camera out)

Santa came to Grandma and Grandpa May's house to bring the kids a treat. They loved it!

Ryan with Uncle Ronnie, and cousin Nathan.

The Nativity.

Ryan was one of the sheep. He wasn't sure what to think of it all. This is always quite a production.

Christmas Morning

(Eric was having a hard time keeping his eyes open)

New Years Eve at Ronnie and Alisha's house. We had such a great time making ginger bread houses and playing games.

A few of Ryan's cousins Bronx, Kaylee, Nathan and Ryan all ready to go to church.

Out to lunch with the gang.

I was able to go the the BYU basketball game with my parents. It was great to have some one on one time with them.

In December we got completely dumped with snow. Here are a few pictures of Ryan playing in the snow with his dad.

Ever since we've lived out here away from family we've made if our family tradition to celebrate our small families Christmas the Sunday before we take off to Utah. (That way we don't have to take all the presents with us). We always try to make it a special night with just us.
