We took Ryan to his first visit with his pediatrician on Friday, and everything checked out well except that Ryan has a mild case of jaundice. Consequently we had to start treating him with a light blanket. The "blanket" is great because it doesn't seem to bother him and isn't too bright to require him to wear those awkward goggles. He also looks pretty cute as a bright blue glow worm. A nurse came over this morning to draw some more blood to check if his bilirubin levels have gone down. We still haven't heard back on the results, but hopefully the light therapy has worked.
